Snorkeling EquipmentWhether you join me for a day trip or a longer sailing holiday, my goal is simple: to help you experience the Ionian Islands the way locals do. Every trip is different. We follow the weather, the sea, and the rhythm of island life. Together, we'll explore beautiful places around Kefalonia and, if conditions allow, sail to nearby islands such as Ithaca, Zakynthos, Lefkada, Meganisi, Kastos, Kalamos, or Atokos. I love taking guests to places that are difficult to find without local knowledge—small bays with crystal-clear water, quiet beaches, hidden anchorages, and traditional harbours where life still moves at a slower pace. Food is also an important part of the experience. Whenever possible, I prepare simple homemade meals using fresh local ingredients and traditional recipes from Kefalonia. Sharing good food, good company, and beautiful views is one of my favourite parts of being at sea. You don't need any sailing experience. Some guests enjoy swimming, snorkelling, and exploring the islands, while others simply relax on deck and enjoy the journey. Whatever kind of experience you're looking for, I look forward to welcoming you on board and sharing a small piece of my island home with you.

Hi, I’m Nikos, and I grew up on the beautiful island of Kefalonia. My connection to the sea started at an early age and has shaped much of my life ever since. Today, I work as a skipper and diver, and I’m also a co-founder of the local Nautical Club, where I teach sailing and help introduce children to life on the water. Over the years, I’ve explored the Ionian Sea extensively and developed a deep knowledge of the islands, sailing routes, hidden anchorages, and local traditions that make this region so special. I enjoy sharing not only the beauty of the sea but also the culture and hospitality of my home. Whether we’re sailing to a secluded bay, visiting a traditional harbour village, or enjoying local food on board, my goal is to give guests an authentic experience of the Ionian Islands that goes beyond the typical tourist route. I look forward to welcoming you aboard and sharing my favourite corners of Greece with you.

The most magical few days!! As a family of 4 with little sailing experience, and a daughter slightly nervous about sailing, we all had such a brilliant time!! Nikos was the perfect skipper, extremely experienced, so we felt at ease at all times, even when the wind and waves picked up! He advised on the best route to take and places to stop for superb clear water swimming, and overnight stays. Nikos is a very friendly and kind person, we really enjoyed spending time with him, like part of the family. He also makes the best Greek salads we have ever tasted! His wife provided us with some fantastic Greek food for our first lunch which was really appreciated! Nikos went the extra mile, helping us with our onward travel plans and even assisted us with a fast dash to catch our onward ferry with a few minutes to spare - an extremely kind thing to do!! Nikos boat was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need, including SUP, mask snorkel & flippers etc. Do not hesitate to book your sailing experience with Nikos!!

Great trip with Nikos. We were a family of four with two small children who hadn't been sailing before. We were taken on a great route over 3 days, exploring the islands around Ithaca. Nikos was a reliable skipper who found the best spots and anchorages. Boat well equipped with extras like paddleboard, lilos etc, even had delicious food prepared by his wife for our first day. Highly recommend.
